SPECIFY VALUE- Define value from the standpoint of the final customer
- Identify All of the Actions Required to Deliver the Product or Service to the Customer (Both Internal and External to the Enterprise)
- Identify muda and eliminate wasteful steps in the process
- Rearrange the Process to Make the Value Stream Flow without interruption
- At the Rate the Customer Requires the Product or Service: "TAKT Time" = the Customer's Pace of Demand
- The Relentless Drive to Identify and Eliminate Waste (MUDA) from the Value Delivery Process and Reduce Variation
